The BSL ECO 5.12kWh lithium battery is a low-voltage energy storage solution designed for solar backup, hybrid inverter systems, and off-grid or grid-connected applications where reliability and long service life are essential. Built using lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cell technology, this battery offers excellent thermal stability, deep cycle capability, and consistent performance under daily charge and discharge conditions.
This battery is designed for 48V-class inverter systems and supports both on-grid and off-grid solar installations.

The BSL ECO 5.12kWh battery is designed to store energy generated by solar PV systems and supply power during grid outages, load shedding, or peak demand periods. Typical applications include residential solar backup systems, small commercial installations, hybrid inverter setups, and modular battery banks that require reliable daily cycling.
This battery is not a high-voltage battery and is not intended for HV commercial inverter platforms.

LiFePO₄ Cell Construction and Cycle Life
The battery is composed of sixteen UL-listed 3.2V LiFePO₄ prismatic cells connected in series (16S1P). These cells are rated for more than 6000 deep discharge cycles at 80% depth of discharge, supporting long-term daily operation.
LiFePO₄ chemistry provides improved safety characteristics, reduced thermal risk, and stable voltage delivery compared to other lithium chemistries.
BSL ECO 5.12kWh Battery Built-In BMS and Electrical Protection
An internal Battery Management System rated at 100A continuously monitors voltage, current, temperature, and state of charge. The BMS provides protection against overcharge, over-discharge, overcurrent, short circuit, and temperature extremes.
Short-circuit protection is rated up to 350A with a rapid response time, helping to protect both the battery and connected equipment.
BSL ECO 5.12kWh Battery Scalability and Parallel Expansion
The BSL ECO battery is modular and scalable. Systems can start with a single 5.12kWh unit and expand up to 63 batteries in parallel, allowing total storage capacity to scale from 5.12kWh up to 322.56kWh.
This makes the battery suitable for both small residential systems and larger modular energy storage installations.

The battery supports communication via RS232, RS485, and CAN, with optional WiFi and Bluetooth modules available. This allows direct integration with compatible inverters for coordinated charge and discharge control, monitoring, and system protection.
