The Deye BOS-G is a high-voltage lithium iron phosphate energy storage system designed for scalable solar and backup power installations where large capacity, high efficiency, and long service life are essential. Unlike low-voltage wall-mount batteries, the BOS-G system is engineered as a rack-mounted, high-voltage battery architecture intended for multi-module operation under continuous load conditions.

Each BOS-G battery module provides 5.12kWh of energy storage at a nominal module voltage of 51.2V and is designed to be connected in series to form a high-voltage battery string.

 

High-Voltage Modular System Architecture

The BOS-G system operates by stacking multiple battery modules in series within a dedicated rack cabinet. This allows the system voltage to scale from 153.6V up to 614.4V depending on the number of modules installed.

Minimum configuration starts at 3 modules in series, while standard system configurations typically use 8 or 12 modules per cluster, forming system voltages suitable for high-power hybrid and commercial inverters.

This architecture reduces current flow, improves system efficiency, and enables large-scale energy storage without excessive cabling losses.

An intelligent Battery Management System actively monitors and balances current and voltage across all cells. Protection functions include over-charge, over-discharge, over-current, and over-temperature protection.

The system automatically manages charge and discharge states while maintaining cell balance to extend battery lifespan and ensure safe operation under variable loads.

 

High-Voltage Operation and Inverter Integration

The BOS-G system is designed for use with high-voltage hybrid and commercial inverters. Communication is provided via CAN2.0 and RS485 interfaces, allowing coordinated energy management, accurate state-of-charge reporting, and controlled charging and discharging behaviour.

USB, WiFi (optional), and remote firmware upgrades are supported for system maintenance and compatibility updates.

 

Rack-Mount Installation and Physical Design

Battery modules are designed to fit into a standard 19-inch rack system, allowing fast installation and straightforward maintenance. The system is intended for indoor installation in dedicated battery rooms, plant rooms, or technical enclosures.
