The Powerich AI-5000R is a 5.12kWh low-voltage lithium energy storage battery developed for residential and light commercial solar systems where consistent power delivery, daily cycling, and inverter compatibility are essential. Built using lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cells, the AI-5000R delivers stable output, high safety margins, and long service life under demanding operating conditions.
This battery is designed for 48V-class inverter systems and integrates directly with a wide range of hybrid and inverter-charger platforms through intelligent communication interfaces.
Intended System Role and Typical Applications
The Powerich AI-5000R is designed to store solar energy for use during load shedding, grid outages, or peak demand periods. It is suitable for residential backup systems, small businesses, offices, and modular battery installations where predictable daily cycling is required.

An integrated smart Battery Management System continuously monitors voltage, current, temperature, and state of charge. Protection functions include over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, high-temperature, low-temperature, and dormancy protection.
The battery supports RS485, CAN, and RS232 communication, allowing direct integration with compatible inverters for coordinated charge and discharge control. Built-in Wi-Fi enables BMS monitoring and smart battery management functions.
Parallel Scalability and System Expansion
Multiple AI-5000R batteries can be connected in parallel to increase total energy storage capacity. This modular approach allows systems to start small and expand as energy requirements grow, without replacing existing batteries.
