The Volta Stage 1 5.12kWh lithium battery is a second-generation low-voltage energy storage solution designed for modern residential solar and backup power systems. Built around lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cell technology, this battery delivers stable daily cycling, strong safety performance, and intelligent monitoring through an integrated WiFi cloud platform.
Designed for 48V-class hybrid and inverter-charger systems, the Volta Stage 1 combines clean wall-mount aesthetics with advanced electronic protection and long service life.
System Role and Typical Applications
The Volta Stage 1 battery stores energy produced by solar PV systems and supplies power during load shedding, grid outages, or peak usage periods. It is commonly used in residential hybrid systems, backup power installations, and solar-assisted homes where reliability and monitoring visibility are important.
This is a low-voltage battery and is not intended for high-voltage inverter platforms.
51.2V Low-Voltage Battery Architecture

LiFePO₄ Cell Technology and Cycle Life
The battery uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cells known for thermal stability, chemical safety, and long cycle life. The Volta Stage 1 is rated for more than 6000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge, making it suitable for long-term daily charge and discharge operation.
The system has a design life of approximately 15 years at 25°C under normal operating conditions.
Smart BMS and Electrical Protection
An advanced Battery Management System continuously monitors voltage, current, temperature, and state of charge. Built-in protection functions include over-current protection, short-circuit protection, temperature protection, low-voltage safety control, and an integrated circuit breaker for added system safety.
Automatic DIP switch correction simplifies setup when batteries are installed in parallel.
Parallel Expansion and Scalability
The Volta Stage 1 battery supports parallel connection of up to 15 identical battery units. This allows system capacity to be expanded incrementally as energy requirements grow, without replacing existing batteries.
WiFi Cloud Monitoring and Mobile App
This second-generation model includes integrated WiFi connectivity, allowing battery performance to be monitored through a cloud-based platform and mobile application. Users can view charge levels, discharge rates, system status, and fault notifications remotely, providing improved visibility and peace of mind.
Installation and Physical Design
The battery supports both wall-mounted and floor-standing installation using a removable floor stand. It features a modern, compact enclosure designed to integrate neatly into residential environments such as garages, utility rooms, or battery rooms.
