GoodWe Lynx A G3 5.12kWh 51.2V LiFePO₄ Low-Voltage Battery
The GoodWe Lynx A G3 Series is a low-voltage lithium energy storage battery designed for residential solar systems where high performance, safety, and long-term reliability are required. Built using lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cell technology, the Lynx A G3 combines strong power delivery with excellent cycle stability and a compact, modular design.
Each battery module operates as a standalone unit with its own integrated Battery Management System, allowing flexible system expansion and simplified installation across a wide range of residential energy storage applications.
System Role and Typical Applications
The Lynx A G3 battery stores energy generated by solar PV systems and supplies power during load shedding, grid outages, or peak consumption periods. It is well suited for on-grid systems with backup, hybrid solar installations, and off-grid residential systems where reliable power availability is essential.
This is a low-voltage battery and is not intended for high-voltage inverter platforms.
51.2V Low-Voltage Battery Architecture
Operating at a nominal voltage of 51.2V, the Lynx A G3 fits within the standard low-voltage lithium battery category used by most residential hybrid inverters. This voltage class offers a strong balance between safety, efficiency, and wide inverter compatibility.
LiFePO₄ Cell Technology and 1.5C Discharge Capability
The battery uses LiFePO₄ cells known for excellent thermal stability, long cycle life, and chemical safety. One of the key advantages of the Lynx A G3 is its high discharge capability, supporting continuous discharge currents of up to 150A and a maximum continuous output power of 7200W.
This allows the battery to support higher household loads compared to standard 1C batteries, making it suitable for homes with multiple appliances operating simultaneously.
Smart BMS, Safety and Reliability
Each battery module includes a dedicated Battery Management System that continuously monitors voltage, current, temperature, and state of charge. Protection features include over-current protection, temperature protection, voltage protection, and automatic reboot after undervoltage events.
The system supports remote diagnosis and firmware updates via the connected inverter, improving long-term reliability and serviceability.
Parallel Expansion and System Scalability
The Lynx A G3 supports parallel connection of up to 30 battery units, allowing total system capacity to scale up to 150kWh. This modular approach allows systems to start small and expand over time as energy demands increase.
Parallel connection can be achieved using hand-to-hand connections, combiner boxes, or busbar systems depending on installation requirements.
Flexible Installation Options
The battery supports multiple installation methods, including wall-mounted, floor-mounted, cabinet installation, and 19-inch standard rack mounting. This flexibility makes it suitable for a wide range of residential layouts and battery room configurations.
