The SunSynk Lynks 8kW Hybrid Inverter forms part of the Lynks Series IP41 second-generation hybrid inverter range. It is designed to deliver flexible energy management, efficient solar harvesting, and dependable backup power without requiring integrated battery storage.

Built around a 48 V low-voltage battery platform, the inverter produces clean pure sine wave output, making it suitable for household appliances, office equipment, and sensitive electronics.


How the SunSynk Lynks 8kW hybrid inverter works

The SunSynk Lynks 8kW hybrid inverter intelligently manages power from multiple energy sources:

  • Solar PV during daylight hours

  • Battery storage for backup and energy shifting

  • Grid or generator input when required

Solar energy is prioritised to supply loads and charge batteries. When solar production is insufficient, the inverter automatically switches to battery or grid/generator input, ensuring uninterrupted power to essential circuits.


Solar charging and MPPT optimisation

This inverter features dual MPPT channels, allowing independent optimisation of two solar strings. MPPT technology continuously tracks the optimal operating point of the PV array to maximise energy harvest under changing sunlight conditions.

The wide MPPT voltage range allows flexible PV array design and improved performance across different roof orientations.


Battery compatibility and energy storage

The SunSynk Lynks 8kW inverter supports lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries operating on a 48 V nominal battery system. Lithium battery packs communicate with the inverter via BMS, enabling intelligent charging control and system protection.

High configurable charge and discharge current capability allows the inverter to support demanding loads and fast energy transfer.


Backup power and load-shedding performance
