The Deye 8kW Single-Phase Hybrid Inverter SUN-8K-SG05LP1-EU-SM2 is part of Deye’s advanced SG05 low-voltage hybrid inverter range. It is engineered to handle higher household and business power demands while offering flexible energy management, efficient solar harvesting and dependable backup power.

Designed around a 48V battery platform, the inverter delivers pure sine wave output, making it suitable for sensitive electronics, appliances and motor-driven loads.


Intelligent hybrid energy management

The inverter intelligently manages energy from solar panels, battery storage and grid or generator input. Solar energy is prioritised to supply loads and charge batteries. When solar production is insufficient, the inverter automatically draws from batteries or grid/generator sources to maintain uninterrupted power.

Six programmable time periods allow precise control of battery charging and discharging according to usage patterns.


Solar PV input and MPPT performance

The Deye 8kW hybrid inverter features dual MPPT trackers, allowing two independent PV strings to be optimised separately. This improves energy harvest when panels are installed on different roof orientations or experience partial shading.

The wide MPPT voltage range supports flexible PV array design and high overall system efficiency.


Battery compatibility and energy storage

This inverter supports lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries within a 40–60V battery voltage range. Intelligent self-adaptation to lithium BMS enables stable communication and safe charging.

High charge and discharge current capability allows the system to support demanding loads and fast energy transitions.


Backup power and surge capability

In off-grid or backup mode, the inverter provides 200% peak power for up to 10 seconds, making it suitable for starting pumps, compressors and other high-inrush appliances.

Fast switching ensures minimal disruption during grid outages and load-shedding events.


Parallel operation and system expansion
