The HinaESS Hi-5 is a 5.12kWh low-voltage lithium energy storage battery designed for residential and light commercial solar systems where reliability, scalability, and inverter compatibility are critical. Built using lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO₄) cells, the Hi-5 delivers stable performance, strong safety characteristics, and long service life under daily cycling conditions.
This battery is designed for 48V-class systems and integrates directly with a wide range of hybrid and inverter-charger platforms via CAN or RS485 communication.
Intended System Role and Applications
The Hi-5 battery is designed to store energy generated from solar PV systems and make it available during grid outages, load shedding, or peak demand periods. The Hi-5 battery supports parallel connection of up to 32 units without the need for additional external devices. Batteries can be added or removed without affecting system operation, allowing flexible system expansion over time.

The battery communicates via CAN and RS485 and is compatible with a wide range of inverter brands including Victron, Luxpower, Deye, Voltronic, SMA, Goodwe, Growatt, Sofar, Sol-Ark, SRNE, and Must.
